Three Words at Miloco's The Pool
A couple of weeks ago I got a call from Debs Skeldon, Big Sound PR, asking me if I could do a last minute session at Miloco. No details whatsoever about the project were given. Who doesn't love a good mystery?
I traded a couple of emails with Ryan who was producing the session and off I went on a Thursday evening to Miloco The Pool. I had never been in that studio I didn't know what I was getting into session wise.
Luckily James, the assistant engineer there, was a super star and on top of his game. Set up went smoothly as soon as we understood what was going on. Acoustic guitar by Joe Chiari, electronic drums by Lucas Parlato, and vocals. Both players were super easy to work with and Effie was great. Lovely voice and a super hard working ethic.
It was great getting my foot in the door at Miloco and the end result, which I mixed also, turned out pretty cool, if I may say so.
